Psychology Minor

The Psychology minor teaches you how to use the scientific method to study people’s behavior and thought processes. You will learn psychological principles, critical thinking and effective oral and written communication and be prepared for a variety of careers.

  • PSY 113 General Psychology (3)
  • Select one of the following:
    • PSY 230/230L Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences with Lab (4)
    • SOC 350 Methods and Statistics for Social Research (4)
    • MATH 134 Applied Statistics (3)
    • MATH 234 Intro to Probability and Statistics (3)
    • BIOL 275 Biostatistics (4)

Psychology Electives: 18 credits

  • At least 9 of the 18 credits must be at the 300 or 400 level.
