Who Can Apply?

You can apply to the RN to BSN program if you:

• Graduated from a U.S. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program, or
• Are currently enrolled in a U.S. ADN program, or
• Already hold a valid U.S. Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Applicants who are either not in the US or do not have an active F-1 status must report either successful Change of Status (COS) approval or Visa approval 30 days before classes begin. We reserve the right to rescind an offer to the RN to BSN program if a student is not eligible to study due to Visa type or ability to arrive in the US.

Hybrid RN to BSN Pathway Example of Course Sequencing

The three-semester RN to BSN Hybrid pathway degree plan is a model for completing your Hybrid RN to BSN degree in a timely manner. The plan below is one of several possible ways for you to complete the RN to BSN  Hybrid degree. Your individualized plan may look different if you have already fulfilled some requirements. Check your Financial Aid as it may require additional term credits for full-time funding. You must complete all university and program requirements successfully to complete this degree (GPA, 120 credits, 40 LASC, WI, residency).

Through Credit for Prior Learning, after passing the NCLEX, you can earn 3 credits for NURS 497 after successful completion of NURS 301, and 3 credits for NURS 490 after successful completion of NURS 348.
