Dr. Kwame Addey is an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at Minnesota State University Moorhead. He holds a PhD in Statistics and an Ms. in Applied Economics from North Dakota State University. His teaching responsibilities and interests include predictive analytics, machine learning, big data analytics, risk analytics, financial times series, econometrics, probability theory, and all areas of business analytics. A central focus of his research is the application of operations research and data science in the study of real-world problems with the aim of making better decisions. Specifically, his work employs analytical techniques, such as mathematical programming, machine learning, data mining, optimization and simulation, to formulate and solve problems in financial markets and business based on finance, economics and risk theory. In addition, Kwame has a special interest in Markov decision processes. His current research scholarship focusses on the implications of policy (fiscal/monetary) and financial market risks for business operations. Mohamed Elbannan is a tenured professor of accounting at the Paseka School of Business at Minnesota State University Moorhead. He previously held accounting teaching positions at AACSB-accredited business schools at the following universities: Southern Illinois University Carbondale, California Polytechnic State University, and the American University in Cairo (Egypt). Mohamed obtained his master of science in accounting from Eastern Michigan University in 1998 and earned his Ph.D. in Business administration (with a concentration in accounting) from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2003. Dr. Peter Geib, Professor of international business and management, has earned a post-doctoral fellowship from Yale University in management policy. He holds a PhD from the University of Michigan in political science and foreign policy. His dissertation focuses on trade policy formulation. He has conducted research on transition economies beginning with on-site interviews in China in 1988-1989. In the summers of 1991-1996, he conducted interviews in the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary. This research on transition economies and their strategic management implication has continued with efforts in Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, China and India. Vinod Lall, Ph.D., CSCP is the co-chair and professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the AACSB accredited Paseka School of Business (PSB) at Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) with teaching responsibilities in supply chain management, operations management, prescriptive analytics and project management. Since 2003, he has been involved in delivering a graduate course in logistics and supply chain management to US Navy personnel through the Department of Engineering Management at Old Dominion University. Every Fall Semester, he teaches an Executive MBA course in Operations Management for American University Bulgaria (AUBG) at the Elieff Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. Other international teaching assignments at the graduate level have taken Vinod to Ecuador, India and Thailand. Previously, he developed and taught online courses for Kaplan College.com, a division of The Washington Post and has developed online content for several institutions.
