Minnesota State Moorhead is committed to delivering an affordable, high-quality education, and we’re competitively priced compared to other regional programs. Depending on your eligibility status, Minnesota State Moorhead offers tuition support to make the decision easier.

• MN Educators Eligible for Tuition Support
  • For qualifying districts, Minnesota teachers only pay $100 per credit for all courses through Fall 2025 and Spring 2026—no matter how many credits they take. If you wish to pursue a graduate degree, these discounted credits may also be applied to the MS in Curriculum & Instruction, Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership.
• MN Educators Unsure of Eligibility Status
  • If you are unsure of your eligibility status, check with your superintendent. If your district is not currently eligible, have your school administrator communicate with Jolene King (jking@lcsc.org) to see if eligibility is an option for you.
• Out-of-State and MN Educators Ineligible for Tuition Support
  • Out-of-state and Minnesota educators who are not eligible for tuition support pay the full amount for their credits. Tuition cost will depend on the content area.

Fall 2025 - Summer 2026* Tuition & Fee Rates

All graduate courses have fees in addition to the tuition. Personal property or service charges are also assessed on certain courses. Moorhead graduate programs that share courses can have different tuition rates. You will pay the tuition rate of the program the course "belongs" to. Graduate course baseline price is $552.39 a credit.
