Minnesota State Moorhead's Cheryl Nelson Lossett Performing Arts Series continues to be proactive in reaching out to the Fargo-Moorhead community and the surrounding region. Collaborations with community arts organizations and public school systems create outstanding educational arts experiences for the area's elementary, secondary and university students and teachers.
Cantus presents "Simple Gifts"
Cantus joins the MSUM Choirs for a poignant and profound program to commemorate the grand re-opening of Weld Hall.
In Simple Gifts, Cantus weaves together personal stories of gratitude along with beloved tunes including “How Can I Keep From Singing” and “Lift Every Voice and Sing”, timeless classics from Jean Sibelius and Jennifer Higdon, and contemporary gems by Bobby McFerrin and Sydney Guillaume.
