Erick George was a triple major and minor at MSUM. Now, he is the producer of The Valley Today at Valley News Live and is doing his own segment on former presidents, "The Countdown to 47."

Taytum applied, and was accepted, to spend her summer in Menlo Park, California at SRI. While there, she and another student conducted geospatial studies, specifically working on mapping the Ionosphere.

Casey and Kaley Mills met at MSUM, graduated together, and both were awarded Teachers of the Year for Bottineau County. With visible dedication toward their students, the hardworking couple has made important advancements in each of their classrooms.

A healthcare leadership internship provided a unique, collaborative opportunity for a Moorhead High School student, an undergraduate MSUM student, and two MSUm graduate students to conduct research together.

MSUM's counseling program has experienced rapid growth, nearly doubling its enrollment in three years, thanks to a $6.7 million grant.

Chezy, a video production company led by MSUM alumni Joe Tjosvold (founder), Luke Steichen and Shad Vedaa, has worked with worldwide companies like Amazon and Ralph Lauren, as well as local businesses and nonprofits.

The GRIT Program at MSU Moorhead has been honored with the inaugural Devinder Malhotra Equity Award for its outstanding efforts in promoting student success and closing educational equity gaps. The award recognizes the program’s collaborative approach involving various departments and its significant impact on helping students of color, Pell-eligible, and first-generation students thrive in their college careers.

The Teacher Cadet Program, initiated in response to the growing teacher shortage, has already seen success. Many high school participants have discovered their passion for teaching and are committing to further their education at MSUM.
