We are always excited to celebrate the newest graduates of Minnesota State Moorhead. Moorhead holds commencement ceremonies twice per year, one after both fall and spring semester. We hope the commencement information below helps you enjoy the event.
7:30 - 8:30 pm | Graduate reception immediately following the ceremony in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom.
11:30 am - 12:30 pm | Reception immediately following the ceremony in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom.
3:30 - 4:30 pm | Reception immediately following the ceremony in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom.

The commencement ceremony is a ticketed event. Each graduate can request up to 5 tickets. We will be posting more information on tickets soon.
All fall 2025 commencement ceremonies are held on campus in the Hansen Theatre in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts. This is a ticketed event and each graduate can request up to 5 tickets. We will be posting more information on tickets soon.
All receptions immediately following the ceremony will be held in the Student Union (CMU) Ballroom.
Parking on campus will be free the entire day of commencement. Individuals with a special needs parking sticker can park in lots R-6 and G-1. In the event that these lots are full, please plan for the individual with special needs to be dropped off at Roland Dille Center for the Arts.
